Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association 2024 Conference
I was asked to be the event photographer and videographer for the 2024 Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association 4-day Conference hosted at the Fairmont Hotel in Winnipeg. There were speakers, presentations, breakout sessions, and icebreaker sessions to gather content from.
Firehouse Subs, Grand Opening, Taylor Ave
Firehouse Subs is a popular restaurant chain in the US and recently made the move into Canada. I was contracted to visit the restaurant in Winnipeg during their grand opening to shoot and edit a promotional video highlighting the event in the style of their previous promo videos from other grand openings around the country.
MEIA, 2024 Fundraiser Golf Tournament
The Manitoba Environmental Industries Association once again held their annual fundraiser golf game and dinner at Bridges Golf and Country Club. I was asked to capture the energy of the day as the event photographer and had a wonderful experience reuniting and working with the MEIA team. It was a beautiful summer day spent on the course and I’m very happy with the content I was able to capture and share with the team.
Selkirk Fire Department Open House
I attended the 2024 Selkirk Fire Department Open House to create a short and fun promotional video that showed off the many exciting activities and vendors at the event. It was a lovely day and resulted in an awesome video!
City of Selkirk Concert Series, Summer 2024
The City of Selkirk hosts regular concerts throughout the summer and contracted me to attend each one to capture images they could use for promoting the events. As well as the bands, there were vendors, kid’s activities, fireworks, and more.
MEIA AGM & Technical Seminar
A long-time client of mine, Manitoba Environmental Industries Association, contracted me to do event photography at their Technical Seminar and Annual General Meeting hosted at The Leaf. The day kicked off with the seminar, followed by the AGM. It was great to work with MEIA once again at such an incredible venue.
Recycle Everywhere: Street Team at Blue Bombers
The Recycle Everywhere program, operated by the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association, was the game day sponsor for a Winnipeg Blue Bombers home game. I was contracted to attend the game and capture images of the street team with their new promo materials and engaging with fans, chatting about recycling in Manitoba. There was a lot of activity around the street team’s activation and positive engagements with Bomber fans.
WestJet News Conference, Winnipeg Airport Authority
WestJet was in need of a photographer for their News Conference announcing three new flight routes; Ottawa, Montreal, and Nashville. The good folks at the Winnipeg Airport Authority referred me and I had the opportunity to attend the news conference and capture images that were used for marketing and communications.
Cypher Environmental Charity Golf Tournament
Cypher Environmental hosted their annual charity golf tournament at Glendale Golf and Country Club in Winnipeg in support of the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre. I was proud to be the photo sponsor for the event, capturing photos of the Wildlife Haven ambassadors, volunteers, and staff and the awesome attendees enjoying a day on the course for a good cause.

Firehouse Subs reached out to me to shoot a promotional video and capture images of their newest branch opening in Winnipeg, this one on Regent Avenue. Having worked well with the team during the opening of the first Firehouse Subs restaurant in Winnipeg last year, I was honoured to be asked to help out once again.
Recycle Everywhere Bin Bag Giveaway
The Recycle Everywhere program, operated by the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association, hosted a Bin Bag giveaway at Kenaston Place in Winnipeg. Their Bin Bags are collapsible containers designed to make it easier to transport recyclables. Recycle Everywhere partnered with local radio stations to share word of the giveaway and free face painters were on-site for anyone wanting a bit of decoration. I was contracted to shoot a short and edit an Instagram Reel that highlights the energy of the event. It was a very positive experience and I was pleased to be working with the Recycle Everywhere team once again.
City of Selkirk, Evening of History
The City of Selkirk hosted an Evening of History to raise funds for the Selkirk Heritage Endowment Fund, and I was asked to attend. The evening included historical displays for the community, speakers, dinner, and live music.
Manitoba Prospectors and Developers Association Event at Assiniboia Downs
I was referred to the Manitoba Prospectors and Developers Association by another client, and I was contracted to do event photography for an event they hosted at the Assiniboia Downs. The evening started with vendors and networking, followed by an agenda of speakers and dinner.

Wellington College of Remedial Massage held its 2023 graduation at the Gardens at The Leaf. I was contracted to attend the event and capture the energy of the day. It was a beautiful day filled with positivity from the students, teachers, family and friends in attendance. It was an absolute treat working with the team at Wellington College and marked the start of a wonderful working relationship!

MEIA: 2023 Annual General Meeting
The Manitoba Environmental Industries Association hosted their 2023 Annual General Meeting at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion. I was contracted to capture images of the speakers, awards ceremony, and networking reception. It was a wonderful afternoon and evening and the Pavilion provided an incredible background for the event.
GCWCC: Sport for Life Summit 2023
The General Council of Winnipeg Community Centres hosted the 2023 Sport for Life Summit, and contracted me to attend as the event photographer. The summit brings together leaders who work together to enhance the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada. The full day event featured speakers, activities, and networking opportunities. I captured engaging images that will be used to promote future summits.

Firehouse Subs reached out to me to shoot a promotional video of their first branch opening in Winnipeg on Sterling Lyon Parkway. This proved to be the beginning of a fantastic working relationship and led to two additional pairings for their grand opening on Regent Ave and most recently their Taylor Ave location.
Recovery Day 2023 at The Forks
Recovery Day is an annual event held at the Forks in Winnipeg. Its goal is to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving life. I was asked by Fete Jockey, the incredible events company who helped organize this year’s event, to be the photographer for the day. They were looking for images of the performances, vendors, speakers and other highlights from the day.
Recycle Everywhere: Manitoba Moose Activation
The Recycle Everywhere program, operated by the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association, were sponsors of a Manitoba Moose game at the Canada Life Centre. They asked me to attend the game to capture images of Moose fans engaging with the street team members, and download their recycling app to be entered to win a grand prize draw.
International Grandmothers Gathering at the CMHR
The International Grandmothers Gathering, organized by the Stephen Lewis Foundation, was held concurrently in 11 countries in October, including Canada. The Canadian event was held in Winnipeg at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. The Stephen Lewis Foundation asked me to attend the event and capture the excitement and power of these incredible grandmothers during the event at the museum, as well as an evening variety show hosted at a community centre.
GCWCC: News Conference and Mural Unveiling
The General Council of Winnipeg Community Centres asked me to attend a news conference to unveil a beautiful mural that had been painted on one of the city’s many community centres. It was a beautiful day attended by many members of the media.
