Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association 2024 Conference, Promo Video
I was asked to be the event photographer and videographer for the 2024 Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association 4-day Conference hosted at the Fairmont Hotel in Winnipeg. There were speakers, presentations, breakout sessions, and icebreaker sessions to gather content from.
Tower Tap Lager Promo Video
The City of Selkirk teamed up with Torque Brewery to make their very own beer, the Tower Tap Lager. I was asked to produce a promo video to use on their social media accounts to highlight the beer and their upcoming launch party.
Across The Board Game Cafe Promo Video
I worked with Across The Board Game Cafe in Winnipegās Exchange District to create a short promotional video about their business to share on their Instagram account.
Selkirk Fire Department Open House Promo Video
I attended the 2024 Selkirk Fire Department Open House to create a short and fun promotional video that showed off the many exciting activities and vendors at the event. It was a lovely day and resulted in an awesome video!
City of Selkirk, Port Market Promo Video
The City of Selkirk asked me to attend one of their Port Markets that run throughout the summer along the waterfront. I worked with the city team to create a short promo for their social media highlighting the event and ecnouraging residents to stop by.
Firehouse Subs, Regent Ave Grand Opening Promo Video
Firehouse Subs reached out to me to shoot a promotional video of their newest branch opening in Winnipeg, this one on Regent Avenue. Having worked well with the team during the opening of the first Firehouse Subs restaurant in Winnipeg last year, I was honoured to be asked to help out once again.
Winnipeg Airport Authority, Promo Video Suite
It was a pleasure to work with the Accessibility team at the Winnipeg Airport Authority to produce a number of videos to be used for training new staff, as well as spreading awareness of the many tools available to make it as easy as possible to navigate the airport. We produced six videos and each of them had a vertical version. The horizontal versions were ideal for Facebook and YouTube, while the vertical versions were optimized for Instagram and Tik Tok. Public Service Alliance of Canada, Promo Video Suite
The union for federal employees, the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), contracted me to produce a video suite for them. These videos were aimed at demystifying the PSAC structure, and giving a peek behind the curtain at the work thatās being done, as well as the opportunities for growth within the union. Priority Electronics, Promo Video
Priority Electronics in Winnipeg reached out to me to produce a promo video that would be used on the home screen of their new website. The video was to highlight what the organization does and what they stand for as an organization.
Firehouse Subs, Grand Opening Promo Video
Firehouse Subs is a popular restaurant chain in the US and recently made the move into Canada. I was contracted to visit the restaurant in Winnipeg during their grand opening to shoot and edit a promotional video highlighting the event in the style of their previous promo videos from other grand openings around the country.
Nunavut with Sayisi Dene First Nation
I was asked to join Sayisi Dene First Nation and Northlands Denesuline from Tadoule Lake and Lac Brochet for two separate weeks of culture camps on their remote ancestral lands in Nunavut. I was tasked with providing raw footage from the two weeks that would be edited into promotional pieces for future culture camps. It was an incredible opportunity to explore the vast wilderness of Nunavut with the first inhabitants of the land. I created a short collection of some of the footage I gathered on-site below.
Mammoth Equipment and Exhaust: Thermal Blanket Series
Mammoth Equipment and Exhaust manufactures customizable thermal blankets, built to fit any make and model of fixed, or mobile engine. As part of an ongoing communications campaign, the passionate team there reached out to me to produce a suite of videos, each answering a frequently asked question from their customers. The videos were built around an interview we shot with one of their sales professionals.
Headingley Community Foundation
The Headingley Community Foundation was in need of a promotional video to highlight the incredible work they do and they reached out to me to create it. We highlighted two groups in the community who were able to take large steps, and complete important upgrades, thanks to help from the community foundation.
The DPF Company FAQ Series
The DPF Company was looking for a suite of videos that answered frequently asked questions about their comapny, and what they do. We produced a suite of 10 promotional videos for them, building around multiple interviews done with their sales team.
Stallion Marine Exhaust Blanket
The great folks at Stallion Marine reached out to me to produce a video to show off their unique thermal blankets. The video was to be used as a presentation enhancement for their outreach efforts, and to be shared with potential customers. Working closely with the team at Stallion Marine, we came up with the following fast paced, high octane promotional video.
Recycle Everywhere Bin Bag Giveaway
The Recycle Everywhere program, operated by the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association, hosted a Bin Bag giveaway at Kenaston Place in Winnipeg. Their Bin Bags are collapsible containers designed to make it easier to transport recyclables. Recycle Everywhere partnered with local radio stations to share word of the giveaway and free face painters were on-site for anyone wanting a bit of decoration. I was contracted to shoot a short and edit an Instagram Reel that highlights the energy of the event. It was a very positive experience and I was pleased to be working with the Recycle Everywhere team once again.
Move Mobility Non-Emergency Medical Van
Move Mobility engineers and builds customized transport vans, and their new Non-Emergency Medical Van needed a promotional video to highlight its important features. Working with the professional team at Move Mobility, we produced the following video.
Clean Fusion
During the Covid pandemic, I was contracted to create two promotional videos for a startup company focusing on a consumer cannabis infusion kit. Working out of my home kitchen I produced two videos showcasing the process of the infusion itself, and examples of meals and drinks that could be made.
Ignite Cycle & Strength
I was hired by Ignite Cycle & Strength to create a promo vidoe to highlight their business, prior to their grand opening. We were able to create a dynamic and engaging video that effectively conveyed the energy and excitement surrounding their business. The final video was well-received by Ignite Cycle & Strength and successfully used to promote their company.
Peter Sawatzky: Born to Bronze
This short documentary was produced during my final year at Red River College in 2013 and was co-produced by fellow student, Jared Gauthier. The documentary follows the career highlights of renowned bronze sculptor, Peter Sawatzky.
